Medical Description

Topoprazan contains vonoprazan, a potassium-competitive acid blocker (P-CAB) indicated for the treatment of acid-related gastrointestinal disorders. Vonoprazan provides rapid, potent, and sustained suppression of gastric acid secretion by reversibly inhibiting the gastric H⁺/K⁺-ATPase (proton pump) in a potassium-competitive manner. Unlike conventional proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), vonoprazan does not require acid activation, resulting in a faster onset of action and more consistent acid suppression throughout the day and night.

Clinical trials have demonstrated that vonoprazan is highly effective for the healing of erosive esophagitis, maintenance of healed disease, treatment of Helicobacter pylori infection when combined with appropriate antibiotics, and relief of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) symptoms. H. pylori Eradication
