TANTUM ROSA gynaecological anti-inflammatory and analgesic

Composition:

Each sachet contains:
Benzydamine Hydrochloride 0.5 g
(Equivalent to Benzydamine base, typically used as a local anti-inflammatory and analgesic)

Formulation & Use:

  • Powder for vaginal douche/solution
  • Intended to be dissolved in water (usually 0.5 g in about 1 liter of warm water)
  • Used as a vaginal wash or irrigation

Indications (Uses):

Benzydamine is a topical anti-inflammatory and analgesic. This formulation is typically used for:

  • Vaginal irritation, itching, and burning
  • Inflammatory conditions like vaginitis, cervicitis, or postpartum healing
  • Before or after gynecological procedures
  • Relief from pain, swelling, or discharge due to infections (nonspecific or mild bacterial)

 How to Use:

  1. Dissolve the content of 1 sachet (0.5 g) in 1 liter of lukewarm water.
  2. Use the solution immediately for vaginal irrigation or douche.
  3. Apply 1–2 times daily, or as directed by your doctor.

Mechanism of Action:

  • Benzydamine is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
  • Acts locally to reduce pain, redness, swelling, and discomfort.
