Bevacizumab Injection

Bevacizumab is an anti-cancer medicine used together with other treatments for several advanced or recurrent cancers, including:

  • Metastatic colon or rectal cancer
  • Non-small cell lung cancer
  • Recurrent glioblastoma (brain tumor)
  • Metastatic kidney cancer
  • Cervical cancer
  • Ovarian, fallopian tube, and primary peritoneal cancers
  • Advanced or unresectable liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma)

How It Works?

Bevacizumab works by blocking the growth of blood vessels that supply tumors with oxygen and nutrients. This helps slow or stop cancer growth.

Administration

  • Given by intravenous (IV) infusion in a hospital or clinic.
  • Usually administered every 2–3 weeks.
  • Infusion may take 30–90 minutes.
  • Often used in combination with other chemotherapy or immunotherapy medicines.

Pregnancy & Fertility

  • Can seriously harm an unborn baby.
