Fexofenadine Hydrochloride – Medical Description

Fexofenadine Hydrochloride is a second-generation antihistamine medication used to relieve symptoms associated with allergic conditions. It works by selectively blocking peripheral histamine H1 receptors, reducing the effects of histamine released during allergic reactions.

Therapeutic Uses:

Seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever)
Perennial allergic rhinitis
Chronic idiopathic urticaria (chronic hives)
Symptoms including sneezing, runny nose, itchy nose or throat, watery eyes, and itching associated with allergic skin reactions

Mechanism of Action:
