LIMITLESS OSSOFORTIN D3 2000 IU SUPPORTS HEALTHY BONES & IMMUNE SYSTEM — DIETARY SUPPLEMENT 30 FILM-COATED TABLETS

LIMITLESS OSSOFORTIN 2000 IU

Vitamin D Dietary Supplement

Supports Bone Health, Calcium Metabolism & Normal Immune Function

Medical Description

LIMITLESS OSSOFORTIN 2000 IU provides 2,000 IU (50 mcg) of vitamin D per tablet, supplying a substantial daily amount of vitamin D to support adequate vitamin D status and the physiological functions of this essential nutrient.

Vitamin D plays an important role in calcium and phosphate absorption and metabolism, helping maintain normal mineralization and strength of bones and teeth. It also contributes to normal muscle function and immune-system function. Adequate vitamin D is particularly important for maintaining skeletal health throughout adulthood.

Vitamin D can be obtained through exposure to sunlight, dietary sources and supplements. When dietary intake and endogenous production are insufficient, supplementation can help increase circulating 25-hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH)D], the primary biomarker used to assess vitamin D status.

Key Nutritional Benefits

1. Supports Bone Health

Vitamin D facilitates intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphate, which are essential for maintaining normal bone mineralization.

Adequate vitamin D status therefore contributes to:

  • Maintenance of normal bones and teeth.
  • Normal calcium and phosphate metabolism.
  • Maintenance of normal muscle function.
  • Prevention of vitamin-D-deficiency-related skeletal disorders such as osteomalacia in adults.

2. Supports Normal Immune Function

Vitamin D contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system. Adequate vitamin D status is important for normal immune responses.

Although vitamin D supplementation has been investigated for prevention of respiratory infections, clinical findings are mixed and supplementation should not be regarded as a treatment or guaranteed means of preventing infection.

3. Supports Vitamin D Status

A daily 2,000 IU dose can help increase or maintain circulating vitamin D concentrations, particularly when vitamin D intake or endogenous production is inadequate.

Vitamin D status is commonly assessed using serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH)D]. Individuals with suspected deficiency may require laboratory assessment and individualized supplementation under medical supervision.

4. Supports Musculoskeletal Health

Vitamin D contributes to normal muscle function and skeletal health. Maintaining adequate vitamin D status is therefore relevant to overall musculoskeletal function.

However, vitamin D supplementation should not be promoted as a direct analgesic or treatment for chronic back pain or sciatica. Evidence from systematic review indicates that vitamin D supplementation has not demonstrated a consistent benefit for low-back-pain relief.

Suitable Uses

LIMITLESS OSSOFORTIN 2000 IU may be used as nutritional support for:

  • Maintaining adequate vitamin D status.
  • Supporting bone and skeletal health.
  • Supporting normal calcium and phosphate metabolism.
  • Supporting normal muscle function.
  • Supporting normal immune-system function.
  • Adults with inadequate dietary vitamin D intake or limited sun exposure, when supplementation is considered appropriate by a healthcare professional.

Vitamin D & Pregnancy

Vitamin D is an important nutrient during pregnancy because of its role in maternal calcium metabolism, bone health and normal physiological function.

However, vitamin D supplementation during pregnancy should be individualized. WHO states that there is currently insufficient evidence to recommend vitamin D supplementation routinely for all pregnant women solely to improve maternal and perinatal outcomes.

Pregnant women should therefore use 2,000 IU vitamin D daily only after discussion with their obstetrician or healthcare professional, particularly if they are already taking a prenatal multivitamin or other vitamin D-containing supplement.

Vitamin D deficiency has been associated with low-back pain in observational studies, but this does not establish vitamin D supplementation as a treatment for pregnancy-related back pain or sciatica. Evidence from clinical trials does not demonstrate a consistent analgesic benefit from vitamin D supplementation for low-back pain.

Vitamin D & Chronic Fatigue

Vitamin D deficiency can be associated with a variety of nonspecific symptoms, and correcting a documented deficiency may be beneficial for overall health.

However, chronic fatigue has many possible causes, including anemia, thyroid disorders, sleep disorders, nutritional deficiencies, medication effects and other medical conditions. Vitamin D supplementation should therefore not be presented as a treatment for unexplained chronic fatigue.

Individuals experiencing persistent or unexplained fatigue should consult a healthcare professional for appropriate assessment.

Appropriate Groups & Dose

Adults: Take 1 tablet daily, preferably with water and with or after a meal, or as directed by a physician or healthcare professional.

Each tablet provides:
Vitamin D — 2,000 IU (50 mcg)

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose unless specifically advised by a healthcare professional.

Important Safety Considerations

Vitamin D is fat-soluble and can accumulate in the body when consumed in excessive amounts. Excessive vitamin D intake can lead to hypercalcemia, which may cause nausea, vomiting, weakness, excessive thirst or urination, kidney stones and other complications.

The 2,000 IU daily dose supplied by this product is below the U.S. adult tolerable upper intake level of 4,000 IU/day; however, the appropriate dose may differ according to individual vitamin D status, age, medical conditions and concurrent supplementation.

Patients taking other vitamin D or calcium supplements should consider their total daily intake and consult a healthcare professional when necessary.

Warnings & Precautions

  • Consult your physician before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Pregnant women should seek professional advice before using a 2,000 IU vitamin D supplement, particularly when taking prenatal vitamins or other vitamin D-containing products.
  • Consult your physician or pharmacist if you have kidney disease, kidney stones, hypercalcemia, hyperparathyroidism or other disorders affecting calcium metabolism.
  • Consult your healthcare professional if you are taking medications or other supplements containing vitamin D or calcium.
  • Do not exceed the recommended daily dose unless advised by your healthcare professional.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Dietary supplements should not replace a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.

Patient Disclaimer
