Stopadol Woman is a combination medication used to relieve symptoms associated with menstruation (periods), especially pain, bloating, and discomfort.

This combination provides:

• Pain relief → from paracetamol
• Reduced fluid retention → from pamabrom
• Calming and symptom relief → from pyrilamine

Indications

• Menstrual cramps (dysmenorrhea)
• Premenstrual symptoms (PMS)
• Headache and body aches
• Bloating and water retention

Active ingredients

Each tablet contains:

• Paracetamol – 500 mg
• Pamabrom – 25 mg
• Pyrilamine maleate – 15 mg

Active Ingredients & Their Roles:

1. Paracetamol

• A widely used pain reliever (analgesic)
• Also reduces fever (antipyretic)
• Works by inhibiting pain signals in the brain
• Helps with:
  • Menstrual cramps
  • Headache
  • General body pain

2. Pamabrom

• A mild diuretic (water-reducing agent)

​How fast Stopadol Woman works?

Because of Paracetamol:

• Onset of action: about 30–60 minutes after taking a tablet
• Peak effect: around 1–2 hours
• Duration: about 4–6 hours of symptom relief

Pamabrom (diuretic) may take a bit longer to noticeably reduce bloating (a few hours).

Typical dosing (general adult guidance)

• Usual dose:
  1–2 tablets every 4–6 hours as needed
• Maximum dose:
  Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours
  (this keeps total Paracetamol within safe limits ≈ 4000 mg/day)

Important safety points:

• Do NOT combine with other medications containing paracetamol
• Avoid alcohol (increases risk of liver damage)
• May cause:
  • Drowsiness (from Pyrilamine maleate)
  • More urination (from Pamabrom)
