Primrose Plus contains Evening primrose oil which is a rich source of essential fatty acids which are essential for the maintenance of good health. Composition:
Each soft gelatin capsule contains:
Evening primrose oil      1000 mg
Alpha –tocopherol          4mg
 
Pharmacological Action:
Evening primrose oil in Primrose Plus is a unique supplement of linoleic acid & substantial amounts of gammalinolenic acid (GLA). GLA is the precursor of the prostaglandin series 1 (PGE1).  PGE1 plays an important role in different tissues of the human body including modulation of immunity, anti-inflammatory, attenuation of prolactin high levels, and gastric mucosa protection.
 
Indications/ Uses:
 Premenstrual syndrome
 Cyclical and non-cyclical Mastalgia
 Rheumatoid arthritis
 Atopic dermatitis
 
Dosage:
Unless otherwise prescribed, one capsule twice daily.
