Amosar Forte 100 / 25 mg ( Hydrochlorothiazide + Losartan ) 30 film-coated tablets

Why it's used

Amosar Forte Tablet is used to treat an essential high blood pressure condition in patients who are suffering from the state of uncontrolled blood pressure on losartan or hydrochlorothiazide alone. It is a prescription medicine. Hydrochlorothiazide works by eliminating the excess of water, sodium and potassium salts from the kidney and losartan works by preventing the activity of certain natural substances that tighten the blood vessels which results in decreased blood pressure. Amosar Forte is also used to reduce the risk of stroke and high blood pressure conditions in patients with enlarged heart (left ventricular hypertrophy).
Angiotensin 2 Receptor Blocker
Amosar Forte belongs to a class of medicines called Angiotensin 2 Receptor Blocker. Angiotensin II receptor blockers are used for the treatment of high blood pressure and heart failure. These medicines act by relaxing the blood vessels and makes it easier for your heart to pump blood.
