A Palatable & Readily Absorbable High Calcium Supplement
Composition
Each 5 ml. contains:
1.8 gm. calcium glubionate (a mixture of calcium lactobionate & calcium gluconate equivalent to 115 mg. elemental calcium).

Dosage Adminstration
N.B.:Hi-Cal Forte syrup is better to be taken just before meals to enhance its absorption.

Treatment dose could be individualized by physician according to the severity of calcium deficiency.
 Children:

Up to 3 years:             1-3 teaspoonful daily.
More than 3 years:     1-2 tablesponful daily.
Adults:

Pregnant & lactating females:    1-2 tablespoonful daily.
Postmenopausal females:          1-3 tablespoonful daily.
Elderly:                                       1-2 tablespoonful daily.

Indication Usage
1- Treatment of calcium deficiency states such as:

Rickets & osteomalacia.
Osteoporosis e.g. senile, postmenopausal & corticosteroid induced.
Latent tetany.
Hypoparathyroidism & Pseudohypoparathyroidism.
Chronic renal failure.
2- Prophylaxis, as a dietary supplement whenever dietary calcium intake is inadequate, especially in states of increased calcium demand & as in:

Childhood.
Adolescence.
Pregnancy & Lactation.
Perimenopausal females.
Elderly.
Long use of antiepileptic or corticosteroid therapy.
3. Supportive treatment:

In allergic conditions.
